14 - Smok-o Is a no-no don't you Know?

Rather lame title, I know. But my mind's not exactly running at 60 fps today. You probably notice that the post doesn't fit in with my usual randomness. Yes, it's apparently a requirement. But like most assignments, I want to get my own, personal kick out of this one.
Smoking kills. Smoking is dangerous to your health. Stop smoking now. Pretty common things. Same as this post, which is supposed to convince someone to stop using or attempting smoking, but would probably have the effect of slapping someone with a wet noodle as a punishment for being bad.
The hard thing is though, that I've never had a chance to smoke then stop it. After all, one should justify one's own argument. And what better way to do that than to experience what you are trying to fight. I suppose, I would have to resort to conventional statistics and repetitive arguments.
This is my only argument, smoking does kill, in a way that is completely undesirable. Why? Well, smoking is a really big detriment to one's health. It affects the teeth, the throat and the lungs. Everyone is aware that it is a really big factor in lung cancer. Whether they are right or wrong (as it is still not completely proven) any type of cancer is a serious setback. It is painful, so says some patients. Moreover, it really costs a ton of money for treatment. It is especially hard when one is still a minor and cannot support oneself yet.
You may get through all this. However, it may affect your future in many ways beside trying to pay off debts. You may have lost opportunities of education by the time you recover. Time would have been wasted. And treatment left you physically scarred, some job opportunities would probably become closed to you.
I do not condone nor condemn smoker of today, whether they smoke by choice or by addiction. However, stop wasting your life for a single piece of paper with tobacco inside
