11 - The Aura Master

          Are you a Pokemon player? If you do, then you probably know about Lucario. If you are some of the majority that don't play this game, then let me tell you some things about him. Lucario evolves from a Riolu, he has a dual attribute of a steel/fighting type and lastly, he can evolve into a Mega Lucario using a Lucarionite. Pretty basic stuff for a casual Pokemon player.
          Pokemon games aren't actually what I want to discuss today. I want to talk about Lucario as one of my favorite characters in Super Smash Bros and why-I'll be discussing his charcteristics. As you may have read earlier, Super Smash is a side-scrolling fighting game with Nintendo characters like Lucario and some guest characters such as Mega  Man, Ryu, Roy, and Sonic.
          Lucario's special passive ability, Aura, really give a player a serious edge. Aura basically increases his attack damage and launching power in a certain ratio as he gains percent damage. This really boosts his capability to cope with high-damage situations, such as in a sudden death match (a tiebreaker where all players start with 300% damage), or a rowdy 8-player game. It also makes his special move, Shadow Ball, faster to recharge and with higher percentage yield.
          Second, one of his side special abilities, Long-distance Force Palm is very deadly. It integrates the use of grabbing, launching and Aura power into one move. Furthermore, it is a very surprising move for opponents, since his dash is barely visible. Basically, this move lets you move forward to opponents, grabbing, damaging and launching them in that particular order.
          Finally, we get to his ultra-string attack known otherwise as a final smash where he becomes a super-charged version of himself. Lucario evolves into a mega form. During this form, launching rate and damage become so powerful. This has some drawbacks though. He can only move in a regular manner;thus, increasing chances of being evaded. Additionally, the more damage he takes, more of his duration as a mega will be reduced.
